New bearings arrived, loctite 574 in house and bottom end bolts from 928motorsports on hand. Assembly time :)

Tomorrow the pistons are going in along with a new set of rings. I will post pics when if it goes well. By the way, the red stuff on the bearings is assembly lube. I had the crank polished, and did a plasit-gage measurement prior to final assembly. All bearings meet factory spec.

Excellent. This is a detailed engine thread. Can't wait to see it all together.

I am doing my best. By the way - remember the waterpump bolt hole that was stripped? well, it turned out two were done for. I did some studying and ended up buying a time-sert tool set and re-did the faulty holes. Worked like a charm, and very easy to do. Expensive, but in my humble opinion, worth the extra cost and far better the helicoils.

Looks likes a Porsche 928 Engine Assembly Plant over there. Hows the progress?
