Post Coolant leak point/hose placement question
Im thinking this overflow hose is the culprit due to all the condensation marks all around it. (see pics below)
Theres also marks on the timing belt cover as well on the passenger side but that might be dribble from this? i dont feel any obvious cracks or nicks.
It doesnt leak at idle, should i hold revs up and see if it starts to leak?

is the hose supposed to run over or under the radiator mount bushing? it doesnt seem like theres a clear path for it to follow and it seems like its rubbing against the corner of the radiator core.
If this is the cause, im hoping to grab about 10 ft from napa tomorrow after work. What size hose is this suppoed to be?

Thanks,
Jonathan.

Yeah, real bad design flaw on how they routed that hose. I also know it's a weird size as well. I believe it also has Porsche written all over it if it hasn't wiped off already. I would contact 928 Intl and see if they have the proper hose for you.

is yours above the mount? going under would seem like there would be less stress against the radiator corners since the plastic end tanks would be what it touches vs metal. just zip tie it down after from moving, although im not sure about slack issues.

Pretty sure it fits in that notch to the left of your hose. Probably also has some sort of rubber on the metal piece as well. Most of the time, the PO cuts off the ends since that is where they swell and fail the most, thus why the hose is always too short to go through the notch.
