Post break lights
my left brake light when out and i need to replace it. How do i get into it to replace it?

I am unsure on the S4's, but my OB (Original Body 1981) has screws that hold the lens on. Remove lens and then unscrew bulb.

I bet there is a way to remove those from the inside. Did you try and look behind your tool panel and see if there were some bolts/screws that might be holding that taillight assembly on?

Yeah i looked there and there is nothing to do with the lights back there. I have no idea how to get to the lights

I my opinion you should go and get your car checked by a local mechanic.he'll be the better person to tel you how to fix the lights.

I know the bulbs are designed to come out the back of the lens, and it looks like there's one stud with a nut that holds them in.

I don't have a late model car, but my GUESS is that behind the tool panel (inside back hatch, if you go toward the outside (maybe even behind the sidepanel, there's a 10mm nut, and when you remove it, you should be able to push the whole assembly out and get to the back of the lights.
